Communications Analytics Report to Board Directors

2024

As part of my director’s responsibilities, I provided regular quarterly reports for the board of directors. The board report below demonstrates the breadth of my responsibilities and provides high-level communication and social media metrics. In terms of communication oversight, I analyzed website traffic, social media engagement, project milestones, and outreach trends—offering insights and projecting future needs. Therefore, the quarterly report served two functions: 1) a project management update tool and 2) a strategic communications guide, highlighting where our messaging resonated and where communities needed additional support or resources.

Values and Ethos

Clarity and Alignment

These quarterly reports provided leadership with accessible, data-informed visibility into operations, ensuring decisions are grounded in accurate information. They did this by connecting communications and program activity to broader organizational priorities.

Transparency and Stewardship

Regular reporting ensured that decision-makers at the top of the organization were aware of the successes and challenges of the department I managed.
